one man (and a cat)'s battle against rational behavior and general '"right" thinking while living aboard a 22 foot engineless junk rigged sailboat named Shanti
so, my first post in a year or so... i got shanti sailing for a summer and did some short trips, mostly staying in the straits between whidbey and the mainland. then i went back to humboldt (by train) for the fall and winter. then back to Shanti, set her up, got ready to take her to port townsend, changed my mind and came back to humboldt for the summer. so now i'm living on land for the summer and fall, i have no idea where i'll end up at this rate... but here are some pics that my fellow wharf-rat Kenny took last year and a few from last sping by billy. the sloop is Kenny's boat "the bachelor's wife"
after much work, (much thanks to Sue!) the sail is on the mast. no pictures of sue and lou working on shanti were taken(i blame the rum) new photos are on the way (i promise)
